Implementation of Employee Safety and Health for Production Effectiveness in the Pandemic Period of PT. C_2 Electronic
The global COVID-19 pandemic has affected many industries. The unstable internal condition of the company due to reduced demand has made many companies carry out strategies for production effectiveness. Not only relying on the government, during a pandemic the industrial sector is also challenged to be adaptive and innovative in managing internal companies. This pandemic has made us aware that the role of industry is not only to absorb labor, but also to implement the right strategy between effectiveness and production and ensure the health of employees in the company. The right strategy during a pandemic is the main key to managing employees from pandemic to new normal. Because employee productivity and health are two things that are the main focus of the company. The implementation of occupational safety and health (K3) is an important aspect during the corona virus pandemic as work risks increase, which must be ensured by social security and labor providers. The implementation of K3 is considered to be able to encourage economic growth. The purpose of K3 is to improve the effectiveness of planned, measured, structured, and integrated occupational safety and health protection. Then prevent and reduce occupational accidents and occupational diseases by involving elements of management, workers / laborers, and / or trade / labor unions. Furthermore, to create a safe, comfortable and efficient workplace to boost productivity
