Industrial Disparity in Maharashtra : A View

India is a developing country. Considering over population of India, industrial development is a must to provide employment to her people for increasing their income level and living standard. There has been industrial development in large extent in developed countries. Considering the experience of developed countries India has also been trying to achieve industrial development since its independence. For the economic development, industrialization has been recognized and accepted as an important part of planning in Maharashtra. Since the formation of the Maharashtra state the government of Maharashtra has been making deliberate and planned efforts for industrial development by taking several steps such as setting up several supporting institutions and adopting different package scheme of incentives. The general atmosphere in the state is also helping for industrial development. At the formation of the state, there was a great regional industrial disparity. In order to remove, inter regional disparity the state government has made a plan and deliberate steps taken accordingly. As a result of this, the state has made spectacular progress in the field of industry
