Infrastruktur für die Energiewende und die Systemtransformation - notwendig, aber kein Engpass für weitere Schritte : [ifo-TUM-Symposium - quo vadis Deutschland? : Energiewende in Deutschland]

Im Rahmen der Energiewende in Deutschland bzw. der Transformation des gesamten Energiesystems in Richtung erneuerbare Energieträger wird der Infrastruktur oftmals eine besondere Bedeutung zugemessen; umgekehrt wird das Fehlen entsprechender Infrastrukturen gerne als Grund angeführt, die Systemtransformation zu verzögern. Christian von Hirschhausen, Technische Universität Berlin, zeigt, dass Infrastruktur zwar notwendig für eine erfolgreiche Systemtransformation ist, jedoch in Deutschland derzeit kein wesentlicher Engpass auf diesem Weg droht und daher dieses Thema energie- und gesellschaftspolitisch nicht unnötig überhöht werden sollte.
