Innovation and Tradition in Feminist Philosophy

According to feminist philosophy innovation can be understood as the part of a binary opposition: "tradition-innovation". The tradition is rooted in the culture of innovation. Innovation is the potential tradition. Innovation often is presented as the opposite of tradition. Feminist innovations ceases patriarchal tradition and try to create a new tradition based on values of emancipation of woman. Such juxtaposition is not always productive for the development of the theory of innovation, because there are many innovations which are based on old tradition. The main goal of feminist movement is these context is to overcome and stop development of patriarchal tradition which can be presented in the new social and cultural conditions as the innovation. Based on feminist creativity innovation allows to overcome patriarchal tradition which is already on the stage of extinction. Innovations can act as adaptive mechanism of tradition. According to feministic approach innovation concluded the basic law of the development of society. The presence and the successful promotion of innovation are the conditions of agility and development of the individual feministic innovator. We made the conclusion that feministic innovator as the creator of new ideas and projects and "locomotive" of innovation. The development of innovative qualities, creative and intuitive abilities should be the main goal of individual development of feminist. The process of formation of these qualities requires significant time and funds. However it gives mobility and other competitive advantage to feminist-innovator
