Intergenerational Responsibility in the 21st Century (Introduction)

Intergenerational Responsibility has many faces. Childhood income dynamics and elderly wealth privilege, intergenerational social stratification, intergenerational dependence, age-sensitive responses to exogenous shocks, climate justice and climate induced migration, sustainable development as well as intergenerational aspects of civil warfare. Intergenerational Responsibility in the 21st Century aims at highlighting multifaceted problem responses through legal and policy frameworks, governance and agency as well as leadership and the intergenerational glue in the social compound. The edited volume compiles academic as well as practitioner-oriented chapters that outline the different applications of intergenerational responsibility in the global arena.
