International life insurance business: unification of management models

The master thesis, “International life insurance business: unification of management models” analyze management of the life insurance business, international development perspective in the unfavorable economic conditions, while keeping life insurance business management models used as the most important factor for development. The thesis examines management theories applicable for the life insurance business development internationally. According to these theories empirical studies were accomplished in order to identify the patterns of management models deficiencies that have limited international development. The research results are summarized in the perspective unified management model, distinguishing three main directions. Research was supported by the following methods: theoretical studies, analysis of secondary sources, a statistical analysis reflecting life insurance business using the correlation, the international internet survey of the life insurance senior management, PEST, forecasts according to moving average and exponential smoothing, case study, expert interviews, which compliance rate was checked by Kendall’s coefficient of concordance, stated hypotheses testing. Structure: introduction, the five main sections divided into subsections, conclusions and suggestions, references.
