Internationale Finanzmärkte aus einer von Hayek inspirierten Sicht
Zusammenfassung Hayeks preiszentrierte Informationstheorie, also die Erkenntnis, daß Preise auf funktionsfähigen Märkten Sammler wie Sender unumgänglich notwendiger wirtschaftlicher Information seien, ist ganz besonders in der Finanzmarkttheorie fruchtbar geworden. Es ist jedoch eine schwierige Aufgabe zu zeigen, wie Information in die Preise hineingelangt, eine Frage, die Hayek in seiner der Gleichgewichtstheorie homologen Sicht bereits existierender Preise weitgehend ausklammert. Hierzu müssen monopoloide Elemente und Marktunvollkommenheiten im Sinne der Preistheorie einbezogen werden. Es ist auch nicht klar, ob Preise nicht falsche Information verkörpern werden, was Hayek in seiner Konjunkturtheorie selbst annimmt, oder ob allein gegenwärtige Preisinformation für Unternehmerentscheidungen ausreichen wird. Viele dieser Probleme werden jedoch gerade durch die Evolution von Finanzmärkten infolge des Institutionenwettbewerbes ihrer verschiedenen Formen gelöst.
