Japanese Corporate Philanthropy
Although much is known about the donations made by Japanese companies to causes in other countries, little is known about corporate giving within Japan itself. This book explores the socio-cultural setting in which the latter type of corporate giving is conducted. It deals with the legal foundations of philanthropy, taxation, and the way in which the actual philanthropic system works.
