Jeder neunte Beschäftigte in Deutschland in Kurzarbeit : Entwicklung jedoch deutlich rückläufig

Die Zahl der Beschäftigten in Kurzarbeit in Deutschland dürfte nach Schätzung des ifo Instituts im September deutlich auf 3,7 Mio. Personen gesunken sein, nachdem sie im August bei schätzungsweise 4,7 Mio. Personen gelegen war. Damit dürfte sich der Anteil der Kurzarbeiter an der sozialversicherungspflichtigen Beschäftigung seit dem Höchststand im Mai in etwa halbiert haben. Allein durch Kurzarbeit dürfte das Arbeitsvolumen aller sozialversicherungspflichtig Beschäftigten im September um 5% geringer ausgefallen sein als üblich. Der Rückgang der Kurzarbeit auf hohem Niveau zieht sich durch alle Wirtschaftsbereiche und Regionen Deutschlands. Besonders hervorzuheben sind dabei vor allem einige Industriebereiche, wie der Fahrzeugbau, die Metall- oder die Elektroindustrie, wo die Kurzarbeit am stärksten rückläufig gewesen sein dürfte. Dennoch ist der Anteil der Beschäftigten in Kurzarbeit angesichts der nach wie vor schleppenden Nachfragesituation aus dem In- und Ausland im Verarbeitenden Gewerbe weiterhin deutlich höher als etwa im Baugewerbe, beim Handel oder in den meisten Dienstleistungsbereichen.
