Knowledge management in the firm

Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to introduce this special issue on knowledge management in the firm. Design/methodology/approach – The papers presented are all contributions dealing with knowledge in the firm. Findings – This special issue is part of the scientific response to the increasing importance of knowledge and learning. Originality/value – The papers in this issue provide a range of well-documented responses to these methodological challenges, examples that may serve as inspiration for continued methodological development.
