Kreditgenossenschaften und genossenschaftliche Zentralbanken in weltweiten Märkten : quantitative Aspekte der Internationalisierung und Globalisierungsbetroffenheit

Dieses Arbeitspapier beschäftigt sich mit der Internationalisierung von deutschen Banken. Im Mittelpunkt stehen Auslandsfilialen und -töchter sowie die relevante Einlagen- und Kreditverflechtung. Aus diesen werden Hinweise auf die Globalisierungsbetroffenheit abgeleitet. Aspekte werden aus Daten der Deutschen Bundesbank sowie des Statistischen Bundesamtes für den Zeitraum 2003 bis 2014 gewonnen. Die Analyse bezieht sowohl genossenschaftliche Primär- als auch Sekundärbanken ein. Nicht überraschend weisen die untersuchten genossenschaftlichen Banken nur einen sehr geringen Anteil an allen Auslandsfilialen und -töchtern auf. Genossenschaftsbanken besitzen zwar Einlagen- und Kreditverflechtungen mit ausländischen Banken, jedoch kaum zu ausländischen Nichtbanken. Der Arbeitsteilung in der genossenschaftlichen Finanzgruppe entsprechend sind es die genossenschaftlichen Zentralbanken, die umfassendere internationale Verflechtungen aufweisen. Zusätzlich stellt sich heraus, dass die Kreditvergabe genossenschaftlicher Banken verstärkt an Wirtschaftszweige erfolgt, die weniger vom Im- und Export sowie von Direktinvestitionen tangiert werden als andere. Zur generellen Arbeitsteilung zwischen den Banken und den Investmentgesellschaften weisen deutsche Kundenfonds eher einen europäischen als einen globalen Fokus auf.
