L'introuvable instabilité croissante de l'emploi : et s'il n'existait pas de marché externe ?.

Will employment instability be the employment pattern tomorrow? Many studies support this view. This analysis is first discussed. Statistical data don't allow concluding to a general trend of employment instability during the 80's. These data show that different figures of mobility have been changed along with the development of precarity instead of voluntary quits. To explain these changes, we point out that the will of enterprises is more ambiguous than arguments on the employment instability do assert. From a theoretical point of view, it is shown how the very notion of external labour market has to be questioned.
