I criticize Benetti's claim that a sequence of three models is necessary in order to give a foundation to Keynes' concept of involuntary unemployment. Likewise, I criticize the view, first brought forward by Patinkin and taken up by Benetti, that chapter 19 of the General Theory constitutes the climax of Keynes' book and provides an explanation of involuntary unemployment in a flex-price context.
