Labor arbitration: A current appraisal.
Although arbitration provisions are included today in nearly all union-management agreements, disagreements and problems still are prevalent in the use of arbitration procedures. In this discussion, recent progress in acceptance and utilization of arbitration techniques is examined, and unresolved problems and issues are analyzed. The author concludes that the future outlook for grievance arbitration is optimistic. (Author's abstract courtesy EBSCO.)
