Learner Responsibility in Management Education, or Ventures into Forbidden Research (with Comments)

High involvement, or learner-responsible, education works. It has dramatic, positive, demonstrable effects. It is a forbidden topic and we do not know precisely why it is a forbidden topic. One engages in it, and in research on it, at considerable personal risk. This risk may be reduced by making student's entry Into the experience voluntary. It may also help to have your colleagues, collectively and officially, say such an exercise is all right. Because it works, more research is needed. I agree with Professor Armstrong: We need (more) experimental evidence. Let me second Professor Armstrong's call for more people to join in this expedition. Misery loves company
