Les aspects économiques d'une antibiothérapie raccourcie

Economic evaluation of an antibiotics shortened treatments needs total costs measurement for each medical strategy (traditional and shortened) taking in account for each pathology and each group of patients, treatment durations and their success probabilities. Costs, to be measured are not only medical expanses, but also, work days lost. They have to be considered not only from the point of view of Society as a whole but also for each economic agent (individuals, health insurance, hospitals). Different hypothetical and real situations are tested : every time the cost benefit ratio seems to be higher with shorter treatments.
