Les structures sociales du marché bancaire en France
This article offers to go back over the social construction of the private individual banking market and to show how, in a context of standardization of the services, products and banking pricing, the relationship to the client is embodied, depending on the establishments in which it takes place, by heterogeneous professional practices and differentiated conceptions of the banking occupation. The analysis stresses on the slender link between financial institutions? history and sales executives social trajectories.
