Maintaining the Stability of Agricultural Industry and Food Policy during the COVID-19 Pandemic in PT. Astra Agro Lestari
The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted various aspects of life ranging from health, social, economic, and other diverse, in most parts of the world, especially in Indonesia in PT. Astra Agro Lestari. One of the main issues is regarding food security which is currently becoming very crowded in public discussions as a consequence of the COVID-19 pandemic that is expanding, especially in the Indonesian country in PT. Astra Agro Lestari food is one of the main milestones for the needs of the People of Indonesia, therefore the importance of special attention from many parties in an effort to meet the needs of the community and how to maintain agricultural stability and food security in the pandemic. COVID-19 is a new virus that attacks the human respiratory system. The virus was first discovered in China in Wuhan at the end of 2019. COVID-19 is declared a disease that is harmful to human health due to the easy process of spreading from human to other human beings and attacking human beings from infants to adults and vulnerable elderly. It is undeniable that this virus in a few months has spread to several countries including Indonesia in PT. Astra Agro lestari so that at the beginning of March the government implemented a policy to stay at home and continued with the existence of Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) as an effort to reduce the spread of the virus
