| Notes: | "Established in 1928, Ecuador's Servicio Geográfico Militar, produced the Carta Básica Nacional at 1:25,000 based on a tachymetric survey and the use of terrestrial photogrammetry. Coverage was chiefly limited to the area around Quito. 168 topographic sheets were compiled between 1936 and 1948, although not all were published. Some of the maps were produced in monochrome, others were printed in color."
