Mechanisms of teleological change

Teleology is used as fundamental principle in describing and explaining actions. The basic concept of teleology is the assumption of an actor engaging in intentional, goaloriented behavior. This article describes how teleological mechanisms work and show changes can be effectuated. A short case description of strategic, technological and organizational change illustrates some fundamental characteristics of teleological actions in real economic situations.
