Mehr Flexibilität durch Organisation: Stellenwert strategischer Flexibilitätsziele, Nutzung organisatorischer Befähiger und Erreichbarkeit von Flexibilitätszuwächsen
Mehr als ein Viertel der deutschen Unternehmen setzt im Wettbewerb auf den Faktor Flexibilität. Den Kunden individuelle Lösungen anzubieten oder schnell und termintreu liefern zu können ist damit für viele Firmen das oberste Ziel. Damit rückt die Verbreitung der organisatorischen Lösungen für die Produktion ins Blickfeld, die geeignet sind, Flexibilitätsvorsprünge zu realisieren. Dazu zählen die Schaffung kundenbezogener Segmente an Stelle von traditionellen Werkstätten, die Verwirklichung zwischenbetrieblicher Produktionskooperationen, die Einführung von Null-Puffer-Strategien wie auch Gruppenarbeitskonzepte. Wie Analysen auf der Basis der Erhebung Modernisierung der Produktion 2006 zeigen, können Firmen, die diese Lösungen implementiert haben, in wichtigen Kennziffern zur Messung der Flexibilität Erfolge verbuchen. Gleichwohl scheinen die Möglichkeiten dieser Befähiger zur Steigerung der betrieblichen Flexibilität in der deutschen Industrie noch nicht ausgereizt. Durch die Entwicklung von auf die individuellen Bedarfssituationen spezifisch zugeschnittenen Befähigerkonzepten könnten weitere Flexibilitätspotenziale erschlossen und so die Wettbewerbsposition weiter verbessert werden
