Taking Fengkai County of Guangdong Province as an example of the application of GIS technology in farmland grading. The application of GIS in farmland grading is discussed in order to provide a professional and high-efficient method to complete the work. The function of space analysis of MAPGIS software shows advantages in speed and precision and is regarded as a new way of farmland grading.
