Moral Values of the Buttu Kabobong Legend at Bamba Puang, Enrekang Regency
This study aims to identify the narrative form of Bamba Puang's version of the Buttu Kabobong legend and find out how the moral values and moral messages are contained in the Buttu Kabobong legend. This study uses a qualitative descriptive with data obtained from native speakers, the source of the data is Burhanuddin as members of adat and Indo Late as the local community. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, recording, translation or transcription, and sources triangulation. The research found that the narrative form of the Buttu Kabobong legend is a version that tells about an old kingdom in Tindalun village which has a leader of a wise king and stubborn community who always have sex outside of marriage. Then individual moral values, the social moral values, and the religious moral values are also contained in the Buttu Kabobong legend. Moral value more dominance is Bad religious morals values and gave an indirect moral message that humans everywhere must obey the customs and orders of the leader, and also community can realize that having sex outside of marriage is an act of adultery that has strictly prohibited by religion
