Nachhaltige Mobilität durch soziale Innovationen!? Verkehrsprobleme und alternative Ansätze zu ihrer Lösung
Betrachtet man gegenwärtige Maßnahmen den Verkehrsproblemen zu begegnen, fällt eine stark technikorientierte, ingenieurswissenschaftliche Herangehensweise auf (z.B. energieeffiziente Antriebstechnik, Elektromobilität). Maßnahmen und Strategien, durch die sich unser Mobilitätsverhalten ändert, damit Verkehrsprobleme durch Verkehrsvermeidung minimiert werden, stehen weniger im Blickpunkt. Es gibt aber eine Vielzahl an sozialen Innovationen und Initiativen, wie z.B. der laufende Schulbus oder car-pooling, die hierzu einen wichtigen Beitrag leisten. Nachhaltige Mobilität sollte daher als ein wirksames Ineinandergreifen technischer und sozialer Lösungsansätze im Sinne einer sich je nach Wegezweck ergänzenden Verkehrsmittelnutzung verstanden werden.
