Need for Overhauling the Secondary and Higher Secondary Education System of India : Few Suggestions

While a section of academics have expressed genuine concern for university education system, little attention has been paid to address the problems of existing secondary education system. The data on education clearly highlights the divide between India and Bharat. The rural India is languishing and in the name of modern system of education, the urban India is following an apartheid policy of promoting English medium Central Board schools. The predominance of English medium schools under Central Boards, in the urban centers, is creating a serious divide in the education system of the country
