Notarization of Endangered Plant Species to Preserve them and Prevent their Extinction

The Internet of Things has come a long way since the time it was first introduced, progressively getting broader in its scope while solving critical issues in a novel manner. IoT relies in three properties concerning its smart-objects: identification, communication and interaction.There are issues related to high availability, real-time data delivery, scalability, security, resilience, low latency scale of connectivity and heterogeneity of resources which makes it a hot target for attackers, where centralized security solutions fall short. This provides for an opportunity to use the properties of blockchains: transparency, immutability, distributed structure to be used to strengthen the current IoT scenario. The current study focuses on the monitoring of the Endangered Tree species in India, storing their geographical location data over blockchains. Whenever the area faces any sort of human intervention the blocks in the chain get corrupted signifying that there is some intrusion and the information is immediately conveyed to the stakeholders
