Obstacles and Possibilities for Sustainable Companies in Turkey

This paper provides a general introduction to the discussions regarding sustainable companies in Turkey. It examines the legal, regulatory and market environment for companies and inspects the role the board of directors, managements and other key stakeholders play in promoting a sustainable companies agenda. It indentifies the barriers to achieve sustainable companies in Turkish company law. Additionally, it presents the opportunities for sustainable companies in Turkey.
