On Ways to Improve the Utilization of Industrial Working Capital

It is of great national economic importance that the problems of the organization of working capital of socialist enterprises and of accelerating the turnover of this capital in the sphere of production and circulation be worked out, and also that the wealth of experience acquired in this field be reduced to valid generalizations. Suffice it to say that the total amount of working capital available today to the enterprises and business organizations in all branches of the USSR national economy exceeds 500 billion rubles.
