Open Access Movement and Moral Rights : Rejuvenation of Digital Copyright

The digital space has made a boost in the creative works not only physically but virtually too. The physical and digital both works can be seen at growth. The reason behind it is twofold: one the ease of using the digital products out of which as artistic or creative output can easily be sought. Two is the ease and speed of communication among general public. The earlier one has helped for digital contents and the other one to the conventional work of arts. This has also helped reach the digital works to a large number of people. with greater penetration has come greater violation of copyright.However, Open access has come to rescue the people from the bond of copyright at the same time shows new ways for the authors.This paper conceptualizes that Copy-left or Open access movement is not anti-copyright rather it helps the copyright to grow in digital era where copyright with all restrictions cannot work. Open access has also shown way for people to respect the copyright and uses Moral Rights to protect the ultimate rights of the authors
