Outsourcing photocopying in a library: one experience
The process for outsourcing photocopying includes developing a clear Request for Proposal, monitoring and responding to vendor performance and ensuring quality controls are used. Outsourcing photocopying, done carefully, can help the library husband precious resources while outsourcing activities not traditionally associated with librarianship.
