Pandemic and Its Impact on Performance in IT Organizations Hyderabad, India

The COVID-19 pandemic has radically altered many aspects of society. It has a notable economic impact on industries. The workplace has changed into an online platform to perform the work. The current research examines the impact of the Coronavirus pandemic on performance management in Hyderabadbased IT firms. Covid-19 made it difficult for employees to create long and short-term goals, the Performance management system has become more challenging to assess employee performance. Organizations have found it challenging to monitor performance and productivity from a WFH perspective—a simple random sampling technique used to discover the bottlenecks. An in-depth structured questionnaire was used among 78 respondents of an Information Technology organization. The hypothesis was used to examine the impact of covid-19 on employee performance management using a statistical method called SPSS. The pandemic has a substantial impact on employee performance management, according to the findings. The research gives strong and practical connotations for further developing employees' performance management. According to the results, engagement has a beneficial impact on employee motivation and performance. Most organizations are giving importance to training and engagement using online work support systems that are helping keep employees motivated with optimal employee performance
