Pengaruh Karakteristik Individu Dan Kepuasan Kerja Terhadap Komitmen Organisasi PadaPT. Angkasa Pura II Bandar Udara Polonia Medan
The human resources very important asset of organization and give large contribution to organization because employs perform and behave on achieving organization’s goal. The organization’s goal obtained to pass high organizational commitment that influenced by personal characteristic and job satisfaction. The problems of this research are (1) What is the factors to determinant in personal characteristic at PT. Angkasa Pura II Bandar Udara Polonia (2) What is the factors to determinant in job satisfaction at PT. Angkasa Pura II Bandar Udara Polonia. (3) How far the influence of personal characteristic and job satisfaction influence towards organizational commitment at PT. Angkasa Pura II Bandar Udara Polonia Medan?.This research used human resource management theory related to personal characteristic, job satisfaction and organizational commitment. This research used survey approach. The kind of this research are quantitative descriptive and explanatory descriptive. The total sample used 43 employs in administration and commercial department PT. Angkasa Pura II Bandar Udara Polonia Medan with proportionate random sampling method was used at this research. First and second hypothesis test was tested by using confirmatory factor analysis, while for third hypothesis was tested by using multiple linier regression. Result of this research for first hypothesis is showing the factors to compose personal characteristic are: age, work era, status marriage, and total spouse. The second hypothesis is showing the factors to compose job satisfaction are: work condition, supervisory and co-worker. Result test of third hypothesis is showing the total determination coefficient (R2) is 19.3% and using Confidential Interval 95%, simultaneously personal characteristic and job satisfaction have significant influence towards organizational commitment at PT. Angkasa Pura II Bandar Udara Polonia Medan, while partially job satisfaction influence organizational commitment at PT. Angkasa Pura II Bandar Udara Polonia Medan and personal characteristic didn’t have significant influence towards organizational commitment at PT. Angkasa Pura II Bandar Udara Polonia Medan.The conclusion and overall of this research is to indicate that job satisfaction which consists of work condition, supervisory and co-worker have significant influence to organizational commitment at PT. Angkasa Pura II Bandar Udara Polonia Medan, while personal characteristic didn’t have significant influence to organizational commitment at PT. Angkasa Pura II Bandar Udara Polonia Medan.
