Personal Household Plots Under Conditions of Interfarm and Agroindustrial Integration
Research on the emerging national economic agroindustrial complex concentrates primarily on its branch structure. Much less attention has been devoted to the socioeconomic structure of the complex. The economic literature usually discusses the need to observe branch and interbranch proportions within the framework of the national economic agroindustrial complex (NEAIC). This is unquestionably a large and important problem. However, we must also not underestimate the importance of establishing the correct correlation between elements of the NEAIC with regard to various forms of ownership. In this kind of analysis of the NEAIC, the socioeconomic structure of its second block, which encompasses agriculture, is often viewed merely as consisting of state and cooperative agricultural enterprises. Individual [private] production, which accounts for a substantial share of the gross agricultural product, is lost from view.
