Personas for Autonomous Vehicle Deployments

This paper provides a conceptual look at various personas that could be used for autonomous vehicle deployments globally. It uses ideas developed as a part of a “ideathon” workshop in 2023 related to the EU-funded SHOW project. The idea was to develop concepts for how stakeholders could be engaged for future AV deployments, particularly for those who may have different perspectives on the technology and different ideas about the business model for increasing fleet deployments of AVs over the coming years. The narratives and graphics provide a roadmap for future persona development by other organizations seeking to take advantage of autonomous and automated mobility in their own ecosystems
