The prevention of disease among the general population is one of the primary objectives of sanitation. This objective is accomplished by ensuring the safe collection, transportation, treatment, and disposal of faeces, urine, and other liquid wastes that are produced in private households, business establishments, and public areas.The topic of cleanliness is investigated in this work using an economic perspective. This article discusses the impact that inadequate sanitation has on living standards as well as the opportunities for improvement
