PISA 2015 : EU performance and initial conclusions regarding education policies in Europe
The OECD Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) is the basis for the ET 2020benchmark on underachievement of 15-year olds in basic skills. The indicator states that by 2020, the share of 15-year-olds who are low achievers in reading, maths and science should be less than 15% in the EU. PISA data on educational outcomes are collected every three years. PISA 2015 is the sixth round of this survey; it has a special focus on science performance.
