Politique Educative Et Marche Du Travail En Afrique Du Sud. Une Analyse En Equilibre General Calculable Dynamique/Education Policy and Labour Market in South Africa : A CGE Analysis

This paper presents a Dynamic Computable General Equilibrium Model that analyses impacts of public spending in education on student's behaviours and labour market. The South African education system faces with strong inequalities inherited from the Apartheid regime. We find that this policy improves graduation rates notably for African people, but in long run, as economic growth is too slow, new skilled workers are unemployed
