Project Mumbai : - Creating Social Transformation in Mumbai with an Innovative Solution”
Project Mumbai is a non-profit organization that has been set up by like-minded individuals who are passionate about Mumbai and everything that matters. The CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER AND founder of Project Mumbai Mr. Shishir Joshi emphasized: “Social Transformation through Scale”. He firmly believed that uniting citizens through a cause can do a revolution. His Mumbai building project “Hamara Station, Hamari Shaan” which he undertook in his previous role as CEO of NGO Mumbai First saw 25000 plus volunteers supported by 100 institutions in a beautification drive across 36 railway stations in Mumbai within 7 days in October 2016, a project with Mumbai first and Making a Difference Foundation (M.A.D.).Project Mumbai through its various social-related projects IS ATTEMPTING TO build the next generation of leaders who feel a sense of ownership for Mumbai in the areas of Healthcare, Safety, Security, Environment, Governance, and Transport. Through its Public –Private-People (PPP) Models, Project Mumbai is upgrading the quality of life in Mumbai for Mumbaikars. Their week-long Mumbai Plastic Recyclothon, a mega plastic donation, collection, and recycling drive involving citizen groups, corporate institutions, housing societies, and school goers consider being a mass movement. Project Mumbai is working relentlessly and silently to bring social transformation and ownership among Mumbaikars through their selfless efforts.
