Prometna valorizacija Hrvatske i ucinak na platnu bilancu

Socio-political changes in Eastern Europe and disappearance of ideologically political differences in relation to Western Europe have created prerequisites for the development of Europe as an integral economic and traffic territory on the principles of market economy. At the same time a dynamic technological progress enabled the application of new modern transport technologies, especially on longer distances. All that caused significant changes in the extent and directions of people and goods transport defining new main traffic corridors in Europe, only one of which passes through the territory of Croatia connecting the line Barcelona Trieste-Zagreb-Bucharest. Thus the traffic strategy of Croatia includes the necessity of building joints from the mentioned main corridor, towards Central Europe on one side, and towards the Adriatic sea and broader towards the Mediterranean on the other side. Only in such a way its geographically-traffic location can experience full valorization satisfying domestic demands for traffic services, but it can also enable intensive development of transit traffic as export product which realizes significant inflow of foreign means of payment.
