Les jeunes ont été durement frappés par la crise du COVID-19 et ses profondes répercussions sur le marché du travail et sur le plan social. Le chômage a fortement augmenté parmi cette frange de la population ; l’éducation et l'apprentissage en milieu professionnel ont été fortement bouleversés ; et nombreux sont les jeunes touchés par l’insécurité financière, l’instabilité en matière de logement et les troubles mentaux. Les gouvernements de l’OCDE ont réagi face à cette situation en adoptant des mesures complètes à destination des jeunes qui comprennent des mesures de soutien sur le marché du travail et des aides au revenu, mais qui apportent aussi des solutions en matière de logement et de santé mentale.
