Raumentwicklungspolitische Chancen der Tourismusentwicklung in den Bundesländern Berlin, Brandenburg und Mecklenburg-Vorpommern

Gegenstand sind die Entwicklungschancen der Tourismuswirtschaft in den Bundesländern Berlin, Brandenburg und Mecklenburg-Vorpommern und mögliche Wechselbeziehungen zur Raumordnungspolitik. Die Ausführungen sollen über Niveau, Strukturen und Trends der touristischen Entwicklung Kenntnisse vermitteln und zu Konsequenzen in der Raumordnung und Landesplanung führen. Einleitend wird der Tourismus in Deutschland als Wirtschaftsfaktor charakterisiert. Es folgt eine Niveauanalyse des Beherbergungsgewerbes der ausgewählten Bundesländer. Danach werden die ca. 20 touristischen Formen und die aktuellen Trends der Angebotsentwicklung im Allgemeinen und spezifisch für die einzelnen Bundesländer anhand ihrer touristischen Potenziale verfolgt. Für den Gesundheitstourismus als dynamischste Form werden Inhalt, Struktur und ökonomische Vorleistungen benannt. Die Skizzierung des Reiseverhaltens spezifischer Zielgruppen schließt sich an. Zuletzt wird eine Input-Output-Rechnung zur Verbesserung der quantitativen Erfassung touristischer Leistungen sowie ihrer volkswirtschaftlichen Verflechtung vorgestellt.
