Regionale Strukturunterschiede bei den erwerbsfähigen Leistungsberechtigten

In diesem Beitrag werden regionale Unterschiede in Bezug auf die erwerbsfähigen Leistungsberechtigten (eLb) untersucht. Die Analyse gliedert sich in zwei Teile. Der erste Teil widmet sich dem Anteil der eLb in verschiedenen Bevölkerungsgruppen (Betroffenheit), der zweite dem Anteil der verschiedenen Bevölkerungsgruppen an den eLb (Struktur). Mittels Clusteranalyse werden Landkreise und kreisfreie Städte mit ähnlichen Anteilsmustern zusammengefasst. Bei der Betroffenheit lässt sich ein deutliches Ost-West- Gefälle erkennen, nicht aber bei der Struktur. Maßnahmen, die auf die Reduzierung der Hilfe bedürftigkeit zielen, sollten die teils erheblichen regionalen Unterschiede in der Struktur der eLb berücksichtigen.
