Relevanz der Digitalisierung für die Bundesländer: Saarland, Thüringen und Baden-Württemberg haben den größten Anpassungsbedarf
Der Anteil der Tätigkeiten, die bereits heute von Computern und computergesteuerten Maschinen erledigt werden könnten, variiert stark zwischen den einzelnen Berufen. Von diesem sogenannten Substituierbarkeitspotenzial sind in den Bundesländern - aufgrund der spezifischen Wirtschafts- und damit auch Berufsstruktur - unterschiedlich viele sozialversicherungspflichtig Beschäftigte betroffen. Die Autorinnen zeigen, welche Bundesländer besonders hohen Anpassungsbedarf haben und welche spezifischen Herausforderungen die Digitalisierung für die einzelnen Bundesländer mit sich bringt.
