Repertory Grid as a Tool for Training Needs Analysis
Repertory grid is a technique that is emerging from the psychological arena entering the business world. As a technique it is particularly useful in putting some “shape” to vague or abstract ideas and it can help to “quantify the unquantifiable”. In the training field repertory grid may be used to help define the performance that managers expect from their staff and then it can help in measuring individuals against that benchmark. Introduces one method of using the technique for a detailed training needs analysis.
