REVELA analiza las expectativas de los mercados sobre crecimiento e inflación para algunos países latinoamericanos. Los valores analizados representan los resultados de encuestas en el sector privado realizadas por los Bancos Centrales de cada país y bajo sus propias metodologías. Dichos valores no son proyecciones oficiales del BID ni de ningún otro órgano oficial. RES recolecta los resultados de estas encuestas, para realizar un informe y un conjunto de gráficos y tablas ilustrativas. En este edición de noviembre, REVELA informa las expectativas de crecimiento en el 2008 para Latinoamérica disminuyeron respecto a las presentadas el mes anterior. La tasa promedio de crecimiento esperado para 2008 es 5.35%, menor en 0.10% respecto al pronóstico de octubre. Para 2009, la tasa promedio de crecimiento esperado desciende a un promedio de 3.8% respecto a las expectativas presentadas el mes anterior.Abstract: REVELA analyzes market expectations of growth and inflation in Latin American countries. The figures analyzed represent the results of surveys of private sector actors conducted by the central banks of each country according to their own specific methodologies. They do not represent official projections by the IDB or any other official body. RES collects the results of these surveys from participating central banks on a monthly basis to produce a report and a set of illustrative graphs and tables. In this November issue, REVELA reports that growth expectations for 2008 decreased with respect to last month's survey. Now the simple average expected growth rate is 5.35%. In the same way, growth is expected to slow in 2009, to an average of 3.8%, down from last month 4.4% 2009 forecast. On the other hand, the expected inflation rate for 2008 decreased from 9.66% to 9.47%. Inflation expectations for 2009 decreased, reaching a simple average of 8.28%.
