Rozważania nad aktualnością tradycyjnej teorii handlu międzynarodowego
W ostatnich latach coraz śmielej formułuje się hipotezę głoszącą, że światowym handlem na powrót rządzi klasycznie interpretowana przewaga komparatywna, co umniejsza znaczenie osiągnięć nowych ujęć teoretycznych i zarazem przywraca aktualność tradycyjnej teorii handlu międzynarodowego. Celem artykułu jest próba weryfikacji tak brzmiącej hipotezy. Autorka, stosując rozumowanie dedukcyjne, przeprowadziła pogłębione i krytyczne studia literaturowe, opierając badanie na wnioskach płynących z artykułów w recenzowanych czasopismach oraz raportów organizacji międzynarodowych. Punktem wyjścia prowadzonych analiz jest diagnoza tendencji rozwojowych we współczesnym handlu światowym z rosnącą w nim rolą gospodarek rozwijających się - w przekroju krajów, a wyrobów zaawansowanej techniki - w przekroju produktów. Stylizowane fakty, wywiedzione na podstawie analiz danych gromadzonych i udostępnianych przez WTO i UNCTAD oraz rezultatów badań empirycznych publikowanych w literaturze przedmiotu odniesiono do wskazań tradycyjnej teorii handlu międzynarodowego. Stwierdzono, że ani dynamizacja handlu krajów rozwijających się, ani zmiany struktury tego handlu, ani tym bardziej przyrosty produktywności w omawianych gospodarkach nie są do pogodzenia z postulatami tradycyjnej teorii handlu międzynarodowego w jej czystej postaci. Dalszy rozwój modeli teoretycznych w kierunku poszukiwania wyjaśnień dla dokonujących się przemian w światowym handlu, jak również wysiłki w kierunku opracowania lepszej miary i poprawy jakości statystyk wydają się nieuniknione.
