Ship Traffic Modeling and Performance Evaluation in Container Port

This paper gives ship traffic modeling and performance evaluation in container port. The basic approach used analytical and simulation mod-els. These models are developed for impact analysis of the ship traffic and patterns of arrival ships at terminal performance. Results from both models are compared with each other. Both the simulation and analytical models were applied to evaluate the efficiency of PECT.
