Situation economique, financiere et monetaire des Etats de la Zone d'Emission de la BEAC au 30 juin 1996 et perspectives a court terme

Im Jahr 1995 wiesen im Vergleich zu 1994 alle Staaten der zentralafrikanischen Bankenzone positive Wachstumszahlen auf, insbesondere die landwirtschaftliche Produktion war erfolgreich. Die Preisentwicklung war von einer Abnahme inflationistischer Tendenzen gekennzeichnet, mit Ausnahme von Äquatorialguinea wurde in allen Ländern eine vorsichtige Lohnpolitik betrieben. Die positive Finanzlage der öffentlichen Haushalte seit der Abwertung des Franc-CFA ist auf wirtschaftliche Reformbemühungen der betreffenden Regierungen, gestiegene Exporteinnahmen und Verbesserungen im Kreditsektor zurückzuführen. Die Aussichten für die zweite Jahreshälfte 1996 hängen von der Fortführung wirtschaftlicher Strukturreformen, vom anhaltenden sozialen Frieden, der weiterhin erfolgenden Unterstützung durch die internationale Gemeinschaft sowie von der Preisentwicklung bei den Exportgütern ab.
