Some Questions of the Law of Value and Price Formation in the USSR

A correct application of value levers in the production, distribution and circulation of the social product, in the development and strengthening of cost accounting, in the improvement of planning of prices â these are necessary and important conditions for the successful growth of the socialist economy. During the recent period a number of articles and other materials were published in "Problems of Economics" devoted to problems of the utilization of the law of value and price formation in the socialist economy. In this article an attempt is made to present an analysis of the different points of view on questions of price formation expressed in the pages of this journal.
