Soziale Sicherungssysteme nachhaltig finanzieren

Die künftige Regierung sollte keine weiteren Rentenpakete, die die ohnehin stark anwachsenden Ausgaben für die Alterssicherung auf Dauer weiter nach oben treiben, verabschieden und die Aussetzung des Nachholfaktors und die doppelte Haltelinie nicht über 2025 hinaus verlängern. Für eine langfristig tragfähige Finanzierung des Rentensystems kommen wir in Deutschland nicht um eine Verlängerung der Regelaltersgrenze herum. Die Erhöhung der Regelaltersgrenze sollte regelgebunden - an Lebenserwartung oder Lebensjahre in guter Gesundheit (HALE, Healthy Life Expectancy) gekoppelt - erfolgen, um kurzfristig opportunistisches Verhalten zukünftiger Regierungen zu minimieren. Und der Anstieg der Regelaltersgrenze sollte sozial flankiert werden, um Personen mit schlechterem Gesundheitsstatus oder physisch besonders beanspruchenden Berufen einen fairen Anteil an den Rentenleistungen zu sichern.
